An undisputed track classic, the Waffle Racer first made an appearance in the 1972 Olympic Trial in Eugene, Oregon and was released to the wider public in 1977. Today, the Waffle Racer also looks to the future, joining Nike's Move to Zero campaign with a sustainable remodelling. The Waffle Racer Crater is made with at least 20% recycled materials, starting with recycled twill uppers with sturdy suede overlays. What's more, the speckled Crater Foam midsole is built with 10% Nike Grind rubber and the outsole arrives with 15% of it. To finish, overlapping the creamy uppers, there's bold sidewall Swooshes which feature neon stitching plus further branding on the heel, tongue and insole. | CT1983-102
